Bed and mattress delivery in London
Beds are heavier and more awkward than they look, and a divan, a solid wooden frame or a king-size mattress is more than one person and a car can manage. Our bed delivery service collects your bed or mattress from a shop, warehouse or private seller and delivers it into the bedroom — carried up any stairs, around tight landings and reassembled if needed, rather than left flat-packed in the hallway.
We handle new beds from retailers, second-hand frames and mattresses from marketplace sellers, and beds you are moving between homes. A two-person crew means heavy divans and headboards are no problem, and we blanket-wrap and strap everything for transit so a new mattress arrives clean and unmarked. If your bed needs taking apart to get it up the stairs and rebuilding at the top, just tell us in advance.
We cover all of London and the surrounding areas, keep same-day and next-day slots open, and fully insure every delivery. We can take your old bed or mattress away in the same visit if you need it gone.

Bed Frame Delivery prices
Bed and mattress delivery is priced by item, so the number is fixed before we collect.
One item two people can carry without a struggle.
A sofa, fridge, wardrobe or bed, collected and delivered.
Both collected on the same run rather than two callouts.
Several items, or roughly a room's worth in one go.
A two-mover crew adds £45 and same-day adds £40. Everything is confirmed as a fixed price before we collect — we do not start a job and then revise the number.
How it works
Tell us the size
Single, double, king or super king, and whether it is a frame, a divan base or just the mattress. Each behaves differently in a stairwell.
Say where it is coming from
Store, warehouse or private seller. We can collect from any of them and deal with their pickup desk ourselves.
Fixed price and slot
Confirmed before collection, with two movers booked if it is a divan or a heavy frame.
Carried to the room
Delivered to the bedroom rather than the front door, and the packaging taken away if you want it gone.
Frames, divans and mattresses are three different jobs
A flat-pack bed frame is the easy one — it arrives in long boxes, it goes up a staircase without argument, and the only real question is whether anyone is building it. A divan base is the opposite: it is a rigid box, usually 190cm by 135cm or larger, and it does not bend around a half-landing. Most divans that cannot be delivered upstairs are two-piece models that nobody split before carrying.
Mattresses sit in between. A pocket-sprung king can weigh 45kg and behaves like a sail in a stairwell, but it will flex where a divan will not. Knowing which of the three you have lets us send the right crew and give you a price that holds.
- Divan bases. Check whether yours is a two-piece that splits down the middle — it usually is, and it makes the difference upstairs.
- Mattress sizes. UK double is 135x190cm, king 150x200cm, super king 180x200cm. Worth confirming against the doorway before delivery day.
- Headboards. Often shipped separately and easy to forget. Tell us if there is one so it comes on the same run.
- Assembly. We deliver and can carry to the room. Building the frame is a separate job on the hourly rate — say so up front and we will allow the time.
- Old bed removal. We can take the bed being replaced. A mattress carries an eco fee for licensed disposal; ask and we will quote both together.
- Packaging. We can take the plastic and cardboard away with us rather than leaving you a pile of it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you carry a bed up to a top-floor flat?
Yes. Our two-person crew carries beds and mattresses up any stairs, and there is no charge for having no lift.
Will you put the bed frame together?
We can dismantle and reassemble bed frames if you let us know in advance so we bring the right tools.
Can you take my old mattress away?
Yes, we can collect and dispose of your old bed or mattress in the same visit — mattresses have a dedicated recycling route, which we handle.
Do you deliver mattresses without marking them?
Ask us for the current insurance certificate, cover limits and exclusions that apply to your job before you book.
How much does bed delivery cost?
By item: from £55 for a small item, £95 for a single large item, £145 for two and £195 for a van load. Send a photo and the collection and delivery addresses for a fixed price.
Can you deliver a bed and take the packaging away?
Yes. We can unwrap the bed in your room and take the packaging and any old bed away with us, so you are not left with cardboard and a mattress to dispose of.
Can you take my old mattress away when you deliver the new one?
Yes. Mattress disposal carries an eco fee because mattresses have to go for specialist processing rather than landfill. Ask when you book and you get one price covering both.
Will you assemble the bed?
Delivery includes carrying it to the room. Assembly is separate work on the hourly rate — tell us when booking and we will allow the time rather than trying to squeeze it in.
Can you collect from a store or warehouse?
Yes, including trade counters and click-and-collect desks. Give us the order reference and the collection address and we will handle that end.
What if the divan base will not go up the stairs?
Most divans split into two halves — that is the first thing we try. If yours is a solid single-piece base and the stairwell genuinely will not take it, we will have raised that from your measurements before the day.
