Our washing machine delivery service collects from shops, warehouses and private sellers and delivers into your kitchen or utility room, carried carefully by a two-person crew and set down in place, ready for a plumber to connect.
We deliver new machines from retailers and second-hand ones from marketplace sellers, and we handle washer-dryers and larger commercial machines the same way. Each machine is strapped and protected in transit so it does not get knocked, and our crew will carry it up or down stairs where a parcel courier would leave it at the front door. If you are replacing an old machine, we can take the old one away and recycle it in the same visit.
We cover every London borough and the surrounding areas, keep same-day and next-day slots open, and fully insure every delivery. We position the machine but do not plumb it in.

Transit bolts, and what happens without them
The drum inside a washing machine hangs on springs and dampers so it can move while it spins. In transit that is exactly what you do not want, which is why new machines ship with three or four transit bolts through the back panel locking the drum solid. Move a machine with the bolts out and the drum swings against the casing — that is how the bearings and the spider arm get damaged, and neither is worth repairing on a mid-range machine.
Second-hand machines almost never have their bolts any more. We handle those carefully and keep them upright and strapped, but it is honest to say the risk is not zero, and it is worth asking a seller whether the bolts exist before you buy. If they do, put them in.
- Find the bolts if you have them. They are usually taped to the back or in the box with the manual. Fitting them takes two minutes and removes the main risk.
- Drain it first. Empty the drum, run the filter out at the bottom, and disconnect the hoses. There is always more water in there than people expect.
- Weight and shape. 70-80kg with no good handholds. Stairs make this a two-mover job rather than a heroic one.
- Measure the gap. Standard machines are 60cm wide, but a fitted kitchen opening can be tighter than the machine going into it.
- We do not plumb in. Delivery and positioning only. Connecting the water and waste is a plumber's job — a bad connection floods a kitchen floor.
- Old machine removal. We can take the outgoing one on the same visit. It is a WEEE item, so it goes to a licensed facility rather than a skip.

They lock the drum so it cannot swing while the machine is moved. New machines come with them fitted. If you have them, put them in before we arrive — it is the single best thing you can do to protect the machine.
Do you plumb the machine in?
No. We deliver, carry it in and position it. Connecting water and waste is a plumber's job, and a hose that is not seated properly will empty a full drum onto your floor.
Can you take the old machine away?
Yes, on the same visit. It is treated as WEEE and goes to a licensed facility. Ask when you book and we will price the delivery and the removal together.
How do I prepare the machine for collection?
Run the drain filter out into a bowl, disconnect the inlet and waste hoses, and tape the door shut. Then fit the transit bolts if you have them.
