Southall is one of the busiest, densest corners of the London Borough of Ealing, and moving here has its own rhythm. The streets of Victorian and Edwardian terraces off the Broadway and around The Green are narrow, heavily parked and often one-way, so a Luton van isn't always the right tool — sometimes two trips with a nimbler long-wheelbase van beats one stand-off with a bin lorry. The Broadway itself (the Uxbridge Road stretch) carries loading restrictions and near-constant market-day traffic, so for shops and flats above them we plan collections early morning or from side roads like South Road and King Street.

Then there's the other Southall: the huge new Southall Waterside development rising on the old gasworks site by the Grand Union Canal, plus new blocks around Southall station itself since the Elizabeth line arrived. New-build moves are a different job again — booking service lifts, dealing with concierge time slots, and long trolley runs from the loading bay. We do these week in, week out and will handle the building's requirements with you before moving day, not on it.

Rubbish and waste collection is a huge part of our Southall workload as well: tenancy-end clearances of terraced HMOs, shop-fit strip-out waste from the Broadway, garden waste from Norwood Green, and single bulky items like sofas, fridges and mattresses.
